At the tender age of 12, he performed the incredible feat of opening for blues GIANT BB. King. Since then, he’s only honed his craft and spread his talent further in terms of collaboration, playing alongside and working with artists such as Buddy Guy, Eric Clapton, Derek Trucks and Blondie Chaplin! As a blues guitarist Bonamassa is passionate about the genre, and runs a nonprofit organisation called Keeping the Blues Alive Foundation, with the aim of improving music education in schools.
