When stunning and beloved director Alex Timbers brings new life to Tim Burton’s 1988 film. When he was looking for the right man to cast for the titular role, there was no better choice than Alex Brightman. Brightman, who had just rocked the Broadway musical scene with his two previous roles in “Assassins” and “School of Rock”, had the star power and charisma to nail the wise cracking and manic energy of Beetlejuice. But who can forget Lydia Deetz, the teen goth who became Beetlejuice’s partner in spooks and friend? The role has been cast by none other than, Sophie Anne Caruso who nailed the role and earned a Theatre World award for the role. Currently, the role has been vacated and replaced by Presley Ryan, a talented actress who’s eager to fill in her shoes. These stars are bringing the energy required to truly bring the story of Beetlejuice to life.
