The Rocky Horror Picture Show comes to Orpheum Theatre Minneapolis on Friday, October 31st 2025 for a very special Halloween night! Catch the original 1975 film, sing along to “Time Warp” and “Sweet Transvestite,” and throw things at a live shadow cast from the local group Flustered Mustard, plus guest appearances from the original cast Barry Bostwick, Nell Campbell, and Patricia Quinn!
It's going to be a barrel of laughs, and audience participation is not only encouraged, it's a requirement! So get dressed up in classic Rocky Horror costume, and collect your very own bag of throwable props and get down to Minneapolis very own Orpheum Theatre for a wild-as-can-be 50th Anniversary Spectacular of the Rocky Horror Picture Show.

The 50th anniversary of the cult classic, The Rocky Horror Picture Show, the longest-running theatrical release in film history! And its going on tour across North America, hitting stages in over 40 cities across the U.S. and Canada... but none of them will be nearly as epic as the Haloween special right here at the Orpheum Theatre in Minneapolis on Friday 31st October 2025.
Get ready for some classic, cult scares with original cast members Barry Bostwick, Nell Campbell, and Patricia Quinn, plus the local group Flustered Mustard! And don't forget to come dressed for the part, a Rocky Horror-themed costume contest, along with original cast members meet-and-greet before the show is all part of the fun.
The full and unedited 1975 film, Rocky Horror Picture Show, with all the bells and whistles and iconic songs, “Time Warp” and “Sweet Transvestite,” plus fan engagement and props to throw (throwable soft props will be provided in bags, please do not throw real items as this may injure the cast!) The Flustered Mustard will be on stage giving you a real-life shadow cast of characters to aim for!
Arrive early to peruse a display of authentic movie artifacts, including costumes, parade your very own costume, interact with the cast of the Flustered Mustard and meet the original cast members. Including Barry Bostwick as Brad Majors, Nell Campbell as the tap-dancing groupie Columbia, and Patricia Quinn as Magenta!
The show is recommended for ages 17 and up due to the show's adult themes and generally wild behavior of the cast and audience. To maintain safety, prop bags are sold on-site, excluding items like rice, water pistols, toast, or meatloaf.
Located at 910 Hennepin Ave., Minneapolis, MN, the Orpheum Theatre is a 1920s designed and purpose-built theater steeped in opulence and history. Seating well over 2500 rowdy guests over the main floor and balcony should provide some exciting throw angles and the cast should be well prepared to fight back, so beware!
