Mothers Day Comedy Jam: Corey Holcomb & Bill Bellamy at Orpheum Theatre Minneapolis

The Mother’s Day Comedy Jam proudly presents highly-acclaimed stand-up comedian Corey Holcomb. He calls himself the Ghetto Dr. Phil because his material often involves giving relationship advice. The prolific performer has appeared in several notable programs like the Def Comedy Jam, ComicView, Last Comic Standing, and Nick Cannon Presents Wild ‘n Out. He also performed in Shaquille O Neal’s All-Star Comedy Jam in 2011. Holcomb has released three comedy specials; The Problem is You, Comedy Central Presents: Corey Holcomb and Your Way Ain’t Working.

Comedian and actor Bill Bellamy is known for constantly engaging his audience during his stand-up comedy sets. Before his career took off, he joined a male beauty pageant where he performed stand-up comedy for the talent section of the show. In 1992, he got his first big break when he appeared on Russel Simmons’ Def Comedy Jam. Apart from comedy, Bellamy has also hosted a number of shows on MTV and starred in numerous films, such as How to Be a Player, The Brothers, Lottery Ticket, Noobz, Kindergarten Cop 2, and more. From 2006 to 2009, Bill Bellamy hosted his own comedy special, Bill Bellamy’s Who’s Got Jokes? The show featured other notable comedians, Karlous Miller, Tiffany Hadish, and Eric Andre, for four seasons on the TV One network.
