Red-hot, sizzling, and absolutely delectable. Stylishly sassy, ever so sneaky, shameless. A bit of sneaking around, a dash of ‘he had it comin’, a dollop of suspicion, a lot of trying to get out of it. Jazz, motive and murder, and of course, a little bit of that ol’ razzle dazzle!
That’s what you’ll get with Chicago - one of the world’s favorite theatrical productions. Chicago, based upon a 1926-play with the same name by Maurine Dallas Watkins, left the world in awe after hitting Broadway for the first time in 1975. This comes as no surprise, because John Kander’s music, Fred Ebb’s catchy lyrics, Bob Fosse and Fred Ebb’s book set it up to have jaws dropping and eyes popping every single time.
Its non-naturalistic style, roaring twenties-ish jazz club vibe, legendary choreography by Bob Fosse, relatable characters, catchy music, immaculate stagecraft, and will have Orpheum Theatre at its capacity.
What better way to follow the iconic story of the Merry Murderesses than on the exceptional stage of the Orpheum Theatre? It’s everything you could possibly want and then some: stunning architecture and decor, comfortable seating, fantastic facilities, state-of-the-art lighting and sound equipment, everything you need for your convenience, spectacular views, and of course, ample parking and a range of restaurants on the block. With seating spread across various areas, there is a seat for every taste and budget.
The fact is - Chicago is imprinted on the grey matter of theatregoers around the globe, and when a chance comes your way to catch it live on stage, you go!
So, don’t even think twice - Get your hands on those tickets now, and all that jazz!
