Orpheum Theatre
Sting comes to the Orpheum Theatre in Minneapolis on Tuesday, October 13th. This stop in Minneapolis is part of his 3.0 experience. At this point, he can't really call it a tour; he's been doing shows under that label for a while. Speaking of the experience, though, the legendary frontman from The Police is sure to have the crowd on their feet for most of the show. He's the proud owner of tracks that marked an era in music, starting in the 70s and mostly through the 80s. It's time to take a stroll down memory lane with one of the best performers of all time!
If you want to be a part of this, all you gotta do is click the "Buy Tickets" link on this page. The Orpheum Theatre in Minneapolis is not a massive venue. That means that you'd better be quick about securing those tickets since they could sell out real soon.

A rock and roll hall of famer at the Orpheum Theatre? Did you ever think you'd get a chance to see that? Sting is one of the biggest things to happen to music since ... ever, maybe. At this point in his career, though, he's left the massive arenas behind to hit up smaller venues. It's a chance to have a much more "personal" experience with Sting. One that you probably never thought was coming your way. If you're one of those people who sings "Every Breath You Take" at least once a week, then this performance might just be for you.
A lot of people want to know whether or not Sting plays tracks from his time with The Police in his live shows. The answer is yes! All of the songs that made this man famous will be on display. That includes "Fields of Gold" and "Shape of My Heart." There is a curveball in all of this, though, and you'd better be ready for it. Sting's got a new album out titled "Mercury Falling." It might be a good idea to skim that one through before heading to this live performance. There might be a drop off in overall excitement when he plays those tracks. The least you can do is make sure you don't have such a big drop-off yourself.
The very front of the theater can offer a unique experience that we've talked about, you probably never thought you'd get from Sting. This feeling of it almost being a private show because you're looking at the legend from up close. Meanwhile, if you move a little further back, you'll have a better overall view of the show. Try to ensure that you're staying near the center of this venue. Since it's not so wide either, you won't feel like you're looking at the action at as much of an angle if you're off to one side, but technically that's not ideal.
Two truths and no lies here! This is not a massive venue, and there are plenty of Sting fans in Minneapolis. Hit that "Buy Tickets" link to make sure you're not on the outside looking in come Thursday, October 13th.
