The Orpheum Theatre, located right here in the heart of downtown Minneapolis and one of the most legendary venues in all of Minnesota, is so thrilled to welcome Chicago: The Musical to our stage this winter on Sunday, February 1st. This show has been hitting stops and stages all across America on its brand-new national tour, and we can’t wait to see Roxie, Velma, Billy, and the rest of the merry murderesses light up our stage here to start off the month for an unforgettable night of jazz, justice, and jailhouse glam. But just one thing - make sure you let your Chicago friends know so they can plan to come to town, okay?!

Filled with razzle dazzle, show-stopping choreography, and some of the most iconic Broadway numbers of all time (yes, “All That Jazz” is even better live), Chicago is a satirical love letter to the roaring 1920s and a sharp-tongued jab at fame, corruption, and the American obsession with spectacle. It’s got crime, it’s got comedy, and it’s got courtroom chaos — all wrapped in fishnets and Fosse flair. And most importantly - it’s got years of theatrical legacy it’s built on. This show has been stealing the spotlight from coast to coast this season — hitting venues like Shea’s in Buffalo, the Fabulous Fox in St. Louis, the Majestic in San Antonio, Palace Theater in Albany, the Hobby Center in Houston  — and now, the show is strutting its way right here to The Orpheum for one night only in the Twin Cities for all of our viewing pleasure..
